Prior to the Cuban trade embargo in 1961 there were millions of "Clear Havana's" which was the term used for cigars made in the US with all Cuban tobacco. These Cigars are made from a vintage 1959 Cuban crop that is still used in the filler for these cigars. This robust tobacco combined with the nut-sweet Connecticut broadleaf Maduro wrapper produces a delicious flavorful taste found only in Havana Blend.
