| Chrome Bumper Classic Corvette for Sale!
For SHOW and GO. A design based on the Mako Shark Vette, this 1972 Stingray two-top convertible was the last year of production with front and rear chrome bumpers and a removable rear window. She had a complete frame off restoration in '85 and not a lot of miles since. At the same time the 350 c.i. engine had an LT-1 cam installed. The true horse power is unknown. The console plate reads 350 c.i./350 lbs torque. She has a 4 speed trans with reverse lock-out. Mechanically, she is fine. Numbers match. The exhaust system is stainless steel with new mufflers. She shows 72,000 original miles and has been garage kept and never driven in the rain or snow. The interior is all original. The A/C Works great and the electric windows are original glass. The in-dash electric clock is suitably frozen in time and the AM/FM is nothing more than original. The body gel has one barely noticeable area of spidering. The bumpers have not been re-plated but show fine. Although not perfect she has recently won 1st and 2nd place in shows for Corvette Stock Original ('00,'99,'98,).
